Pregnancy and Shiatsu: A Moment Just for Me

From Doubt to Well-being: My First Step Towards Shiatsu During Pregnancy

When I decided to try a Shiatsu massage, I had some hesitation: I was afraid the practitioner might be intrusive and, above all, I feared feeling judged in my body during such a transformative time as pregnancy. My biggest concern was exactly about being touched in such a delicate period.

And yet, since I started the treatments, I have discovered a deep sense of well-being and inner peace.

I feel more centered, less tense—especially in my neck and shoulders.

From Heaviness to Lightness: The Power of Shiatsu on the FaceOne treatment that really struck me was the facial massage: I went to Agnese after an exhausting day, with intense tension in my forehead and eyes, to the point I could barely keep them open. After the session, I felt reborn—energized and with a completely relaxed face.

What I love most about Shiatsu is being able to give myself a moment just for me.

Well-being in Pregnancy: Trusting and Rediscovering the PresentTrusting Agnese means knowing she will do exactly what I need. Thanks to the treatments, I can enjoy the present more, without the rush of always having to do something. Also, I experience very few of the typical discomforts of pregnancy, which is a huge benefit for me.

A Moment of Regeneration for EveryoneI would recommend Shiatsu to anyone, because everyone can benefit from it. Especially to those who need a regenerating break during the week—a moment to reset themselves. Beyond the undeniable effects of the technique itself, I believe the real difference lies in who delivers the treatment.

Listening and Care: A Tailored Treatment Just for MeWith Agnese, I have always felt welcomed and understood. Each session is different from the last, because before starting, she always takes time to listen to me—and often she understands better than I do what I need in that moment.

Agnese is serious, professional, and deeply human. You can feel and see that she loves her work.
