Before Shiatsu: physical discomfort and constant fatigue
This shiatsu and chronic pain testimonial tells the story of a journey made of listening, trust, and gradual relief, experienced by someone who feared physical contact but ultimately found benefit through treatment.
Shiatsu and chronic pain
Before encountering Shiatsu, my state of health was marked by constant physical discomfort, accompanied by intense fatigue, both physical and mental. I often felt heavy and worn down in my day-to-day life.
Initial hesitations: fear of painI admit that I had many reservations about receiving a shiatsu treatment. My main fear was related to contact with certain particularly painful areas of my body, especially the neurofibromas, where even light touch can cause strong, widespread pain involving the nervous system.
Why I had always avoided massage
This was also the biggest obstacle that had always prevented me from undergoing any kind of massage: I was afraid of experiencing more pain than benefit. Over time, however, I discovered that Shiatsu could be different.
Since I began receiving treatments, I feel lighter and calmer during the day, and I notice a reduction in pain.
Taking time for myself: the value of treatment
One of the aspects I appreciate most is being able to take time for myself, focus on my psycho-physical well-being, and feel relief—especially from back pain.
Who I would recommend Shiatsu to
I would definitely recommend these treatments. I would suggest them both to people who practice sports and need to release fatigue and tension, and to those who live with pain related to age or illness.

Shiatsu as support, not a replacement
I believe it is important for people to know, when considering a shiatsu treatment, that the practitioner is highly trained: shiatsu does not replace modern Western medicine, but it is also not improvised. Shiatsu should be understood as a form of support—a conscious accompaniment to well-being.
Agnese, a competent and attentive presence
Agnese is a sensitive, caring, available, and well-prepared person. I would like to add a sincere thank-you for her competence: despite my long list of issues, often different from week to week, she has always been able to identify the cause and the deeper origin of what I was experiencing.
